Hi. I'm Valerie Brown

I present "Good Time Jazz" every Saturday at 12 noon. Although I've been a Bundabergian for just eight years, I've been broadcasting on community radio stations in Queensland since 1985 - mostly jazz because it's in my genes - my parents were entertainers in London where I met my jazz trumpeter husband.

I'm passionate about jazz from Australia as well as the U.K. and U.S. and I love to present new recordings to my listeners, along with anecdotes and stories from the lives of the legendary jazz greats. Trad, mainstream, modern, Latin, vocals and blues - it's all in the mix when you tune in and ... "join me for jazz."
